Physical Literacy aims to develop 21 century skills in children through physical education curricula that is not limited to competitive sports. Through Physical Literacy, Piramal School of Leadership (PSL) aims to create space for holistic development of children.

Physical Literacy interventions aim to reimagine physical education as a tool for holistic development by embedding movement, inclusion, and well-being into the core of school life.
- "Play for All" curriculum is co-developed with the state government for grades 1–12, focusing on Physical Literacy.
- District officials and principals are trained to understand and advocate the importance of Physical Literacy.
- A cadre of Master Facilitators is created to train Physical Education Instructors (PTIs) through ongoing, practical workshops.
- Schools are encouraged to include dedicated sports periods and organize annual sports days to build a culture of physical activity.
- Governance structures are set up within schools to sustain Physical Literacy interventions.
- Advocacy is done for recruiting permanent PTIs and implementing a monitoring and evaluation system.
- The goal is to foster a holistic and sustainable approach to physical education and student well-being.
Impact
- Till now, we have successfully capacitated 9K Middle Managers, 1 Lakh teachers and 50 lakh students on Physical Literacy
